CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR TWO VISITING PROFESSOR

POSITIONS FOR THE PERIOD FROM 5 MAY TO 31 DECEMBER 2025 at the

“Umberto Eco” International Centre for Humanistic Studies

Art. 1 – Scope

In order to promote the internationalisation and transversality of both scientific research and doctoral teaching at the University of Bologna, the “Umberto Eco” International Centre for Humanistic Studies of Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna (hereinafter, “CUE” or the “Centre”) hereby adopts this call for applications for n. 2 Visiting Professor positions (pursuant to the current Regulation issued by RD 1175/2024 of 13/07/2024, in force as of 1 August 2024, hereinafter the “Regulation”) from foreign international institutions to perform teaching and research dissemination activities on topics of interest to the CUE. In particular, this initiative shall allow for strong scientific interaction between the invited Visiting Professors and professors/researchers/PhD students at the University of Bologna.

Art. 2 – Recipients

Applications may be submitted by international professors or researchers who hold a fixed-term or permanent position at an international university or research institution and who will maintain this status until the end of the period of collaboration with the University of Bologna.
