C\u2019est entre autres sous l\u2019angle institutionnel qu\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 abord\u00e9e la probl\u00e9matique d\u2019un \u00ab ordre du discours \u00bb (Foucault, 1971). \u00c0 partir des effets de la performativit\u00e9 du langage (Austin, 1962 ; Butler, 2004 [1997] ; Boutet, 2010), de la valeur symbolique qui lui est attribu\u00e9e (Bourdieu, 2001) ou encore \u00e0 travers les sch\u00e8mes de domination v\u00e9hicul\u00e9s par la langue, la recherche a montr\u00e9 que le pouvoir n\u2019est pas une caract\u00e9ristique inh\u00e9rente des individus mais qu\u2019il est li\u00e9 aux situations de communication qui l\u2019impliquent, notamment dans l\u2019institution.
