Per Aage (nato nel 1944 a Buenos Aires) era una persona dai molti\u00a0 talenti, non \u00e8 stato solo un importante linguista e semiotico ma anche un poeta, un musicista, uno scrittore. Lascio ad altri il compito di ricostruirne la biografia intellettuale, mi limito a ricordare la sua tesi di dottorato <em>La charpente modale du sens<\/em> (pubblicata da Benjamins Amsterdam nel 1992), presentata da Herman Parret alla Sorbona. Ma soprattutto ricordo la sua figura e i suoi modi gentili che in parte contrastavano con la sua determinazione intellettuale. Per diversi anni frequent\u00f2 i seminari del Centro Internazionale di Semiolinguistica di Urbino, allora diretto da Pino Paioni, e l\u00e0 ci incontrammo regolarmente, come testimonia l\u2019articolo \u201cMundus in fabula\u201d, pubblicato sul numero di <em>Versus<\/em> dedicato al <em>Lector in fabula<\/em> di Umberto Eco (n. 129, 2\/2019), che esordisce ricordando proprio le discussioni attorno a quei temi nel 1977, nelle aule e sui prati del Collegio del Colle.
