{"id":7707,"date":"2023-03-20T17:45:53","date_gmt":"2023-03-20T16:45:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/asso.unilim.fr\/fedros\/2023\/03\/20\/hommage-a-goran-sonesson\/"},"modified":"2023-03-20T17:45:26","modified_gmt":"2023-03-20T16:45:26","slug":"hommage-a-goran-sonesson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asso.unilim.fr\/fedros\/en\/2023\/03\/20\/hommage-a-goran-sonesson\/","title":{"rendered":"Hommage \u00e0 G\u00f6ran Sonesson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cher.e.s coll\u00e8gues,<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est avec profonde tristesse que nous avons appris, au sein du Bureau de l\u2019Association Internationale de S\u00e9miotique Visuelle\/International Association for Visual Semiotics \u2014\u00a0au nom de laquelle je vous \u00e9cris aujourd\u2019hui\u00a0\u2014, le d\u00e9c\u00e8s de notre coll\u00e8gue G\u00f6ran Sonesson, professeur \u00e9m\u00e9rite de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Lund, et pr\u00e9sident de ladite association. Pour beaucoup d\u2019entre nous il a \u00e9t\u00e9 un ami, pour d\u2019autres un coll\u00e8gue respect\u00e9\u00a0; dans tous les cas, nous regrettons son d\u00e9part si rapide et si douloureux.<\/p>\n<p>G\u00f6ran a eu une tr\u00e8s longue carri\u00e8re de chercheur et de professeur, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 couronn\u00e9e de bien des succ\u00e8s. Il a su pendant longtemps dialoguer avec la s\u00e9miotique francophone structuraliste, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 un grand admirateur et collaborateur de la s\u00e9miotique et rh\u00e9torique visuelle du Groupe \u00b5 de Li\u00e8ge, et il s\u2019est ensuite fortement rapproch\u00e9 de la s\u00e9miotique cognitive, dont il est devenu un repr\u00e9sentant \u00e9minent, internationalement reconnu bien au-del\u00e0 de la communaut\u00e9 des s\u00e9mioticiens. Il a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 un travailleur infatigable, publiant en fran\u00e7ais, en espagnol et en anglais.<\/p>\n<p>Nous rappellerons surtout ses importantes contributions \u00e0 la s\u00e9miotique visuelle (<em>Pictorial Concepts (<\/em>Lund, 1989), <em>Semiotics of Photography. On Tracing the Index<\/em> (Lund, 1989), \u00ab\u00a0Le Groupe \u03bc. Quarante ans de rh\u00e9torique. Trente-trois ans de s\u00e9miotique visuelle\u00a0\u00bb, <em>Actes S\u00e9miotiques<\/em>, avec M.G. Dondero (eds), 2010), o\u00f9 il a toujours veill\u00e9 \u00e0 associer ses pr\u00e9occupations sur la perception visuelle et sur le caract\u00e8re socialis\u00e9 de l\u2019appr\u00e9ciation des \u0153uvres. En raison de sa vision panoramique et interdisciplinaire sur les \u00e9tudes du visuel, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 maintes fois sollicit\u00e9 pour des articles d\u2019envergure publi\u00e9s dans des dictionnaires et des encyclop\u00e9dies (voir \u00ab\u00a0Pictorial Semiotics\u00a0\u00bb dans l\u2019<em>Encyclopedic Dictionary of Semiotics<\/em>, Sebeok &amp; Danesi (eds), DeGruyter, 2010 et dans le <em>Handbook of Visual Communication<\/em>, Machin (ed.), DeGruyter, 2014).<\/p>\n<p>Anthropologue de formation, et fortement inspir\u00e9 par la philosophie husserlienne, il a grandement contribu\u00e9 aussi aux \u00e9tudes sur l\u2019\u00e9volution culturelle et la s\u00e9miotique cognitive.
