De la phonologie \u00e0 la po\u00e9tique, des rapports \u00e0 l&#8217;anthropologie \u00e0 ceux \u00e0 la th\u00e9orie de l&#8217;information, il a trait\u00e9 de tous les aspects de l&#8217;expression linguistique, en exer\u00e7ant une grande influence sur le structuralisme et les sciences humaines. Parmi ses ouvrages : Essais de linguistique g\u00e9n\u00e9rale (1966), Magie du mot (1980), La forme sonore du langage (1982).<\/p>\n<p>Comment est n\u00e9e la \u00ab s\u00e9miotique \u00bb et sur quelles autres bases une \u00ab s\u00e9miologie \u00bb aurait-elle pu se d\u00e9velopper ? Au centre de ce d\u00e9bat se trouve Roman Jakobson, \u00ab le dernier des grands vieillards \u00bb, comme l&#8217;appelait Umberto Eco.
