La diffusion exponentielle de la \u00ab\u00a0synthographie\u00a0\u00bb \u2013 des images synth\u00e9tiques souvent impossibles \u00e0 distinguer de photographies \u2013 soul\u00e8ve des questions cruciales concernant leur statut ontologique et \u00e9pist\u00e9mologique, leur valeur documentaire et leur fiabilit\u00e9 visuelle, les notions d\u2019auteur et de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9, ainsi que leur r\u00f4le dans la formation et l\u2019\u00e9ducation des nouvelles g\u00e9n\u00e9rations.<\/p>\n<p>La conf\u00e9rence vise \u00e0 promouvoir une discussion interdisciplinaire explorant les implications \u00e9pist\u00e9mologiques, esth\u00e9tiques, socio-s\u00e9miotiques, techniques et \u00e9ducatives des images g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es par l\u2019intelligence artificielle. \u00ab\u00a0Seeing with Machines\u00a0\u00bb se propose d\u2019\u00eatre un espace de dialogue entre diff\u00e9rentes perspectives disciplinaires \u2013 de l\u2019esth\u00e9tique \u00e0 la philosophie du langage, de la s\u00e9miotique aux \u00e9tudes visuelles et m\u00e9diatiques, des sciences de l\u2019\u00e9ducation \u00e0 l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie de l\u2019IA \u2013 dans le but de questionner de mani\u00e8re critique le cadre th\u00e9orique permettant de comprendre les images g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es, le changement \u00e9pist\u00e9mologique introduit par les technologies TTI, l\u2019\u00e9rosion de la valeur documentaire et les transformations de la culture visuelle, ainsi que les d\u00e9fis \u00e9ducatifs et de formation associ\u00e9s \u00e0 la nouvelle condition des images.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ENG: In recent years, the development of image generation technologies using Text-to-Image (TTI) systems, such as DALL\u00b7E or Stable Diffusion, has radically transformed the processes of image production, circulation and interpretation. The exponential spread of \u201csynthography\u201d &#8211; synthetic images often indistinguishable from photographs &#8211; raises crucial questions about their ontological and epistemological status, their documentary value and visual reliability, notions of authorship and creativity, as well as their role in the training and education of new generations.\u00a0The conference aims to promote an interdisciplinary discussion exploring the epistemological, aesthetic, socio-semiotic, technical and educational implications of images generated by artificial intelligence. &#8220;Seeing with Machines&#8221; is proposed as a space for dialogue between different disciplinary perspectives \u2013 from aesthetics to the philosophy of languages, from semiotics to visual and media studies, from education sciences to AI engineering \u2013 with the aim of critically questioning the theoretical framework within which to understand generated images, the epistemological change introduced by TTI technologies, the erosion of documentary value and the transformations of visual culture, as well as the educational and training challenges associated with the new condition of images.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/asso.unilim.fr\/fedros\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2026\/05\/Seeing-With-Machine-Programma-A4.pdf\">Seeing With Machine &#8211; Programma A4<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Invitation Colloque international \u00ab Seeing with Machines: Aesthetics, Education and Semiotics of AI Image \u00bb &nbsp; Nous avons le plaisir de vous transmettre le programme du colloque international \u00ab\u00a0Seeing with Machines: Aesthetics, Education and Semiotics of AI Image\u00a0\u00bb, qui se tiendra \u00e0 Reggio Emilia les 7 et 8 mai prochains.
