Il pi\u00f9 delle volte s\u2019\u00e8 trattato di un\u2019indagine \u2013 critica e no \u2013 che ha messo a fuoco pi\u00f9 che altro le cosiddette scienze dure, dette esatte o naturali. Molto meno s\u2019\u00e8 lavorato sulle stesse scienze umane e sociali, dette umanistiche o dello spirito. In altre parole le scienze sociali hanno lavorato molto poco su se stesse, le proprie procedure di scoperta, le retoriche di legittimazione etc. La stessa semiotica, in quanto teoria generale e metodologia d\u2019analisi dei discorsi, a parte alcuni episodi sporadici, ha raramente sviscerato il discorso delle scienze sociali, meno che mai il suo stesso discorso.<\/p>\n<p>Ma ha ancora senso parlare di scienze umane e sociali come ambito separato e diverso da quello delle scienze dure? \u00c8 ancora operativo nelle pratiche scientifiche il grande sogno novecentesco di uno statuto epistemologico a s\u00e9 stante, valido per l\u2019ambito sociale e non per quello naturale? Se occorre andar oltre la distinzione fra natura e cultura, come da pi\u00f9 parti si sostiene, ha senso ripartire le discipline che, intrecciandole, le studiano secondo questa stessa distinzione? Se e come ripristinare \u2013 entro le attuali istituzioni accademiche che tendono sempre pi\u00f9 a erigere steccati fra saperi e poteri \u2013 un dialogo, una collaborazione come anche un terreno comune di controversie possibili fra diversi ambiti del sapere? Ha ancora valore separare approcci quantitativi da approcci qualitativi? cos\u00ec come distinguere fra analisi field e analisi desk?<\/p>\n<p>Le questioni in gioco sono innumerevoli, e vanno dai grandi temi dell\u2019epistemologia e della teoria critica delle scienze alle pratiche intersoggettive e interoggettive delle vite quotidiane in laboratorio, con tutti i livelli intermedi legati alle procedure euristiche e alle relative metodologie.
